Responsibilities Deliver mail and packages to designated addresses in a timely manner. Operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws. Sort and organize mail prior to delivery, ensuring accurate distribution. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise. Maintain records of deliveries and returns, reporting any discrepancies as necessary. Assist in the loading and unloading of mail from vehicles, which may involve heavy lifting. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch of mail. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a valid driving license. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, as it aids in understanding logistics. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the loading and unloading of mail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management skills are highly valued.
