Dedicated Security Officer – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services Location: London, England. Join our team as a dedicated Security Officer and protect our customers’ property, people and assets. Responsibilities Protect customers’ property, people, and assets by providing security services in line with the Assignment Instructions (AI's). Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer, ensuring full responsibility and accountability. Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development. Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements directed by the Security Account Manager and UK Law. Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the AI's. Proactively review the Assignment Instructions, suggest amendments to improve service level. Remain compliant with industry and statutory legislation; hold a front‑line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision, and maintain a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements. Follow instructions and procedures without unnecessarily challenging authority. Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly manner. Fully complete required competency training and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry. Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge. Look out for health & safety hazards and report them immediately. Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action. Maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers. Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident. Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client. Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as per the AI's. Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
