Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen within an established and UKAS accredited asbestos company known for their provision of expert services. This company is currently hiring for a P402 qualified, committed and skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around North London. The successful candidate will come from a strong asbestos background and will be experienced in undertaking asbestos surveys on a range of site types. Applications from Enfield, Harrow, Watford, Ilford and the surrounding areas. Qualifications & Experience The individual must possess the P402 asbestos or the equivalent – RSPH certificate and at the same time must have ample practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos field. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety issues pertaining to asbestos. Key Tasks Undertaking Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – commercial and industrial. Collating and writing reports as and when required. Liaising with clients on a regular basis. All prospective candidates must be flexible with regards to travelling to designated areas as per the clients requirements. The successful candidate will be versatile, confident and flexible, demonstrating an excellent work ethic as well as an adaptable approach to their work.
