IT Global Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA & Automation Test Engineer responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support of our platform, acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay at the forefront of QA & automation testing technologies. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with the software design team to discuss verification protocols. Identify weaknesses and target areas of software applications. Develop ideas for automated testing procedures. Identify, report, and troubleshoot problems. Design and install software databases. Identify quality issues and prepare test reports. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Previous experience as an automation test engineer. Knowledge of automation systems, databases, and programming skills. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java and VBScript. Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Java, Selenium, JMeter, Postman Preferred Technologies and Experience Nginx IPv4 Networking Programming in C/C++/Java/Python/Go/Rust/Node Test automation Relational and non-relational data technologies Personal Traits Passion for technology Initiative Self-learning Team player, ownership, and contribution to team capability Certifications (Optional but Advantageous) AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for J2SE 6.0 Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management Location and Salary Slough, Berkshire, UK Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
