We enable clients to live independently as possible. The role of a Support Worker Waking Nights may involve personal care, night time observations if needed, medication and support to clients with Autism and Asperger's, Acquired Brain Injury and Learning Difficulties. All person specific training will be given before starting as well as paid shadow shifts. We are looking for Support Workers who are interested in learning or expanding their knowledge within the care sector. Experience in the above is not required but having knowledge around these things will serve as an advantage. You do not need to drive for the role although it is desirable, it is more important that you have the right values and want to help make a difference to someone's life. You will be based in one building and there are opportunities for waking night shifts and sleep in shifts. This will be discuss with you at interview. We currently offer Excellent rates of pay, up to £13.02 per hour. Full paid induction training. Ongoing courses to extend your knowledge. Workplace Pension Scheme. Refer a Friend bonus - £200 per referral. Support for achieve your NVQ/QCF qualifications. Career progression through to more senior positions. We currently have positions in the Lancaster/Morecambe Area. Due to the needs of the role we require all of our support workers to be over 18. The shift patterns are various and will include sleep ins which are paid as an increment, overtime will be available for suitable candidates, the right candidates must have some flexibility.
