About the Role We are looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in Manchester, overseeing the technical delivery of electrical design services across a range of projects and sectors. Responsible for day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across multiple building sectors. Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions meet briefs and regulatory standards. Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders – client‑facing role, attending project meetings and translating briefs within the project team. Collaborate with the team leader to monitor fee expenditure, resources and work delivered. Mentor and support next‑generation professionals, including apprentices and graduates. About You To be successful you will need: Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record of delivering on complex projects. Experience with modern technical delivery processes and tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux. Demonstrated experience working with clients, contractors or architects in a design‑oriented or consultant role. Self‑awareness, an open mind and a spirit of generosity. Experience supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
