Job Title: School Cleaner Location: Secondary Catholic School, Woodford Green Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-7:00pm (20 hours per week) Contract: Part-time, Long-Term About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established secondary Catholic school in Woodford Green. The school is seeking a reliable, hardworking Cleaner to join its site team. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for students, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas Emptying bins and disposing of waste Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors Wiping surfaces, sanitising touch points and maintaining high hygiene standards Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures About You Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional references Other If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
