1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from Imperium Commodity SearchHead of Research & Resourcing | Executive Search & Guaranteed Hiring in Commodities, Shipping and Financial MarketsJob Title: Naphtha BrokerContract type: PermanentSalary: Draw plus CommissionsRetained & Exclusive VacancyImperium Commodity Search is exclusively retained by one of the worlds largest Energy & Commodities Brokerages, with offices in over 20 countries worldwide, seeking Naphtha Brokers to join their established team in their EMEA Offices, ideally London or Dubai but with opportunities to be based in the US or Singapore too.With a long history of success and a staggering volume of open lines, our client is able to offer immediate market access and longstanding clientele to incoming brokers, in addition to on-boarded/ported relationships/business.The firm provides broking and high quality, value-added execution services for Swaps, Forwards, Options, Physical Oil, Refined Petroleum Products, Futures Contracts and Renewables.The Role:We are looking for experienced brokers, as individuals or as a team, with a proven track record in the energy brokerage industry, to focus on brokering Naphtha contracts, servicing customers in these markets to generate additional revenue. The role will require the individual to develop and maintain strong client relationships, as well as identifying prospective new clients, predominantly focusing on the EMEA territories, to contribute to the ongoing success of the desk. In addition, the individual may also be required to cover other broker desks as required.Responsibilities:Maintain and develop existing client relationships and actively drive business development through networking and outreach to push desk revenues across Light Ends (Naphtha) businessProvide timely and accurate execution services to oil majors, trading houses, funds and institutional clients across Naphtha (Light Ends)Keep up-to-date knowledge of the products and markets in which you work and provide accurate market analysis, reports, pricing spreads, research and industry news across the Light Ends and wider Oil and Energy markets to the desk and counterparties. Ability to cross reference analysis from research houses and platforms such as Reuters, Bloomberg etcUnderstand the desk’s and group business strategy and seek to identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clientsWork with internal on-boarding/compliance teams for opening new lines, adhering to compliance requirements at all timesEstablish and act upon cross-sell opportunity, utilising the firms extremely broad asset class coverage in energy and commodities/fxExperience:3+ years experience as a Naphtha (Light Ends) broker in an IDB/FCM execution environmentExcellent knowledge of the energy markets within your niche (naphtha, light ends etc.)Proven track record of managing multiple client types in trade execution within the light ends marketStrong commercial focus with excellent communication skillsTo apply for this position, please use the form below or contact Zuzana Zvolenska to arrange a confidential discussion with the managing consultants – Zuzana.zvolenska@imperiumcs.com.All applications and expressions of interest in this vacancy are in the strictest of confidence.
