Benefits Competitive salary Company car/allowance Contributory Pension Scheme Life Assurance Role As a Regional Buyer, you will play a key role in coordinating the procurement of materials and services across our Yorkshire developments. Acting as the link between suppliers, site teams, and senior leadership, you will support smooth project delivery across multiple live sites and ensure cost control, quality, and timely completion. You will lead supplier negotiations, produce tenders, and manage procurement schedules to ensure every development is efficiently supplied and compliant with company standards. Responsibilities Oversee material orders, stock levels, and timely deliveries to sites Attend site and supplier meetings to strengthen relationships and identify improvements Support cost reporting, invoice resolution, and compliance across all developments Review technical drawings for accuracy and ensure materials meet specifications Qualifications Minimum of five years experience in a buyer role or similar Knowledge of Health and Safety related issues Proficiency in the use of COINS and Microsoft Office Good negotiation skills Excellent time management and organisational skills An HNC/D or equivalent in a construction‑based subject A full, valid driving licence Webrecruit and Jones Homes Ltd are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
