Locum Consultant Breast Radiologist - KentRole: Locum Consultant Breast Radiologist – Kent. 4 days ago. Location: Kent, England. Rates: £120-£140 per hour, inside IR35 only. Shifts: An experienced breast radiologist who can do both screening and symptomatic work. 1 month work potential with the possibility to extend for a further month. Mon-Fri clinics are 9-5, with reporting coverage potentially requiring 8-6; weekends are a possibility. Full or part-time considered.ResponsibilitiesAct as an expert radiologist to analyse images to diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions, diseases, and injuries.Offer specialist expertise and guidance to other doctors, clinicians, and staff.Liaise with medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment.Elect appropriate radiology techniques for patient diagnosis and undertake minimally invasive techniques to guide and direct interventional treatments.Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information to explain findings and ensure practical understanding.Communicate with patients on shared decision making.Work in, and where appropriate lead, a multidisciplinary team.Assess and prioritise patient/client requirements and delegate effectively to others.Recognise, review, and report a patient’s condition and any changes to the multidisciplinary team.Essential qualificationsBe a GMC registered Doctor (you do NOT need to be on the Specialist Register).Have relevant UK experience at Consultant level, or references to support transition up to Consultant level.Hold evidence of stand-alone Right to Work in the UK (locum roles do not offer visa sponsorship).Pass an enhanced background check (DBS).BenefitsAccess to The Support Hub for mental health, well-being support, and delivery of outstanding care.First sight of jobs across multiple NHS trusts.Competitive pay rates.A dedicated Recruitment Consultant.Free CPD courses and career support with Medacs Academy.Lucrative referral scheme.Revalidation support.24/7/365 service availability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
