As a Consultant within the Defence team you will be delivery‑focused, spending time with our clients to build relationships, grow trust and deliver tangible improvements and benefits. Your work will span the Military Strategic HQ, Front‑Line Commands, the NAD Group and the Defence Nuclear Enterprise, supporting the Defence sector’s ambition to accelerate the adoption of Digital Technologies such as Sovereign Cloud, Agentic AI and Process Automation. Responsibilities Lead and contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, and client pitches. Assist in campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, and practice development. Support training and certification initiatives for personal and organisational growth. Participate in business development, internal contribution and learning & development activities. Deliver value‑add consulting through strategy, innovation, P3M, Agile & hybrid working, business technology, analytics, and workforce transformation. Your Profile Experience in the Defence sector, including the Ministry of Defence, Defence consultancies or Defence suppliers. Delivery experience within Defence programmes (Capability Acquisition, R&D, Digital Transformation, Capability Planning/Strategy or In‑Service Support). Self‑sufficient and autonomous, able to work with minimal oversight. Willing to learn, evolve and tackle new problems. Able to work with a broad range of stakeholders across multiple locations. Strong commitment to self‑development. Desirable Technical Skills Project, Programme, Portfolio Management (P3M), including APM and MSP qualifications. HMT Business Case development and operational analysis. Requirements Management, User Research and Business Analysis. Defence approach to Training Development (incl. DSAT). Cyber & Security Assurance. Digital, Data and Technology (DDAT) and Digital Architecture. Warfare Centre expertise.
