Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and operational teams across a range of refurbishment and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate cost management, tender preparation, commercial reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation Develop and manage cost plans and project budgets Source, manage, and evaluate subcontractor tenders and quotations Carry out value engineering to optimise cost and design Monitor costs throughout each project, including variations and final accounts Provide risk analysis, forecasting, and commercial advice to project teams Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance Produce commercial and financial reports for senior management Ensure adherence to internal procedures and industry accreditations Person Specification / Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience) Ideally 3+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within refurbishment or building maintenance Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts and procurement routes Excellent numerical, analytical, and cost-modelling skills Competent in producing bills of quantities, cost plans, and variations Strong communication skills across all project levels Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proactive, commercially aware, and able to work independently What's on Offer Competitive salary Hybrid working arrangement (office, site visits, and some remote work) Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive, collaborative, and family-focused working environment Exposure to a wide range of high-profile and interesting projects #J-18808-Ljbffr
