Ensure the company’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies are implemented consistently across the organisationReview of HSQE documentationAssist in the production health & safety, environmental and quality documentationIdentifying new and amended safety requirements / legislationAssist in the planning and production health & safety, environmental and quality documentation, including construction phase plans, work package plans, task briefings, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, noise assessments and any other pertinent documentationSupporting Production Teams to maintain safe systems, providing specialist advice, coaching and practical supportTo promote compliance with all HSQE Systems, QTS Initiatives and requirementsProvision of health and safety awareness training and briefingsDissemination of safety information and ‘Tool Box Talks’Site inspections, tours, safety conversations – issuing all reports to Line Managers and the Compliance Team/DirectorConduct Site and Internal AuditsAttendance of safety, quality or environmental related meetings and site visits with both QTS and ClientsUndertake and assist in the investigation of accidents and incidentsEnsuring compliance with QTS Management, Supporting and Works ProceduresFacilitate and manage the Close Call reporting system – investigate high risk close calls as appropriateAssist in Occupational Health monitoring and schemes as requiredMonitor HSQE performance through inspection, audits and engagementTake an active role presenting workforce engagement & behavioural science engagement sessionsIdentify improvements and engage with the wider compliance team, to provide solutions within the QTS Management SystemUndertake any other duties as required by management, commensurate with the grade of the postSkills RequiredNEBOSH CertificateIOSH membershipQuality and Environmental Management Systems experienceSound knowledge of the H&S requirements of legislation, Railway Group and Railway Company standardsQTS is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
