We also have a fast growing and positive apprenticeship programme for level 2 and level 3.Key Responsibilities:To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups in line with the College’s strategic priorities and objectives.To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes. Curriculum Development responsibilities include:Actively contributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum areaProducing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taughtTo be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:Level 3 or higher in AutomotiveGood understanding of IMI qualification and a good understand of apprenticeship standardsTeaching Qualification or willing to work towardsTo hold and Assessors qualification and Ideally an IQA (IQA not essential, but willing to work towards)Ability to meet targets within set timescalesAbility to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervisionDiversity and Inclusion:Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of City of Portsmouth College.
