Overview Electrical Engineer (Nights) 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 17:45-05:45 42hrs average per week Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB Cranswick Country Foods is serious about its quality pork products. Responsibilities Maintain plant and equipment to optimum standards safely with minimum downtime Ensure that all health and safety and food hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times Ensure the efficient usage of spare parts, consumables and equipment Carry out planned maintenance on the equipment which includes in depth visual checks to critical machinery components to identify damage and metal on metal contact or wear Document PPM checks and record any necessary corrective action Ensure that the workshops and engineering equipment are maintained and in a clean condition that this fit for purpose Understand how to trace faults (root cause analysis) Understand the importance of maintenance and performance validation Be fully trained in the Manufacturer's maintenance recommendations, lubrication requirements and critical locations on the equipment What We Look For Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering 2+ years previous experience of FMCG manufacturing - advantageous Ability to work well within a team Work well under pressure and meet set deadlines Strong level of attention to detail What We Can Offer Job stability at a growing and expanding company Time and a half pay rate for overtime Strong commitment to progression and personal development 20 days annual leave and option to purchase additional 5 days Purchase company shares via discounted share scheme Company pension scheme - up to 10% employers contribution Cycle to work scheme, purchase additional annual leave, 'Hapi' discounts app A full job description is available upon request.
