Overview Experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant. Full-Time Role in Richmond Upon Thames. Starting ASAP. Are you a skilled and passionate educator with experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Richmond Upon Thames, and we're seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team full-time. Responsibilities Work in the school's Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), supporting pupils aged 4-11 with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Contribute to a personalised approach to learning and help pupils overcome barriers, build trust, and thrive academically and emotionally. Requirements / Qualifications Experienced professionals with a background in SEMH, SEND, or managing challenging behaviour. Confidence, resilience, and a calm, patient approach. Psychology graduates or those with similar relevant qualifications/experience are encouraged to apply. A valid child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply — guidance will be provided). Someone local to or able to easily commute to Richmond Upon Thames. Why Apply?
