Role of a National Care Group Support Worker You will work with young adults who have complex needs. Key responsibilities include: Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals together. Assist planning of daily tasks and practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Support personal care, including eating and medication administration. Help plan and participate in day‑out activities. Encourage independence wherever possible. Qualities for a Great Support Worker A caring attitude with a passion for supporting others. A team player who works effectively with colleagues. Resilience to keep going at difficult times and confidence to ask for support when needed. Excellent listening and communication skills.
