We are an accredited Living Wage employer and Greensleeves Care are endorsed with Skills for Care and an Assured City and Guilds provider who offer a range of free learning and development to our colleagues.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Care Unit Manager, you will:Assist the Registered Manager by leading the care team in achieving and where possible exceeding, care standards determined by CQC, Local Authority Contract Monitoring, and internal bench marking at the Home.Work with the care team and Home Manager to solve common operational issues and develop action plans to effectively improve the care and quality of the Home in accordance with Greensleeves Care policies and procedures.Develop and maintain professional relationships with the statutory, government registration bodies, professional partners and contract monitoring teams to ensure that the home conforms to best practice guidelines and Trust expectation in the delivery of care to residents.Maintain close working relationships with professional partners to achieve successful clinical care outcomes, and achievement of management performance objectives.RequirementsTo apply, you will have:QCF Level 4 in care or other relevant qualificationExperience of managing staff in a Residential and Dementia Care HomeWorking knowledge of MCA and DOLSHigh level of care knowledgeAn understanding of person centered-careRewards & Benefits PackageFree learning and developmentCompany pension scheme – employers contribution matched up to 6%2 x Salary Death in Service benefitMedical Health Benefit (Beneden)Length of Service Awards at 5,10,20,30,40 and 50 yearsVoluntary Lifestyle Benefits through the Hapi AppCycle to Work SchemeAccess to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Wellbeing Thrive AppRefer a Friend scheme (you can earn up to £300 per referral)Free DBSDBS – The successful applicant will be appointed subject to providing evidence of ISA first and enhanced DBS disclosure.
