Gas Engineer

Location Site based working in and around the North Midlands, including: Burton, Stoke, Lichfield and surrounding areas. Working Monday - Friday 39 hours per week plus call out. Working within the social housing sector, on occupied properties, your work will be varied and interesting; you will be trusted and supported to be able to deliver your best every day. Responsibilities Work within the social housing sector on planned maintenance. Perform boiler isolation, gas pipe works alterations, reconnecting appliances, capping off, gas inspections, gas flues for roof replacements, fitting parts and fault finding. Support roofing, kitchen and bathroom works, general gas and plumbing works for key social housing client. Undertake all aspects of domestic gas work including testing. Certify all works on the appropriate paperwork. Work from job tickets or a handheld device daily. Manage your own day and workload effectively. Always deliver outstanding service to customers, understanding that you are working in their homes. Follow Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards. Work at height. Qualifications ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 certifications. NVQ in plumbing. Full UK driving licence. Supportive training and DBS check available. Plumbing experience desirable. About You As a Gas Engineer you will need to hold a minimum of ACS, CKR1, CCN1, CENWAT/CEN1, HTR1 & CPA1 certifications as well as an NVQ in plumbing. You will need to be a confident driver with a Full UK driving licence as travel is involved with this position. What is equally as important is the ability to take responsibility to ensure tasks are completed and the willingness to work in and as a team to deliver a great service.
