The role is responsible for enabling the successful industrialization of the platform's product range by bridging packaging design with manufacturing realities. It leads the implementation at site level and collaborates closely with machine suppliers to ensure concepts can be ran on the packaging lines with or without changes to existing lines. You will support commissioning on customer level when needed to support pilot customer launches, as well as ensuring the production can be scaled up to multiple production hubs/sites., Responsibilities Take lead and drive transitioning of new packaging concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions Identify and assess and coordinate with packaging machine suppliers to ensure the concept can be mechanized efficiently Lead the execution of production trials and acceptance tests Evaluate existing capabilities and with the right stakeholders address the modification or integration of new machines, tooling or settings to enable successful implementation Translate packaging format requirements into clear equipment specifications, including performance criteria Act as a problem-solver during trials and launch phases, resolving issues in manufacturability or runnability on packaging line Standardize mechanisation approaches and share best practices across sites to ensure packaging formats are implemented consistently and efficiently Collaborate with operations and machine suppliers to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise overall equipment effectiveness Support trials for optimisation, suggest improvement opportunities on material, converting process, line speeds, handling etc... Work with (external) partners to support initial step-by-step integration of new products into operations Qualifications Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant field In depth understanding of packaging machinery and equipment functionality Can do it attitude and strong executer Pro-active mindset in identifying opportunities & improvements Strong communicator to enable credible interaction with sites & customers Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot, think in solutions not problems Skilled in planning, coordinating and documenting trials and process validations Ability to travel frequently for attending trials at sites, customer locations & partners Strong eye for level of detail and strive for perfection #J-18808-Ljbffr
