The Store Supervisor will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the retail store at Ashton Gate Stadium. This role requires a confident, organised, and driven individual who can lead a team, deliver excellent customer service, and increase sales. Job Purpose Assist the Store Manager in running the store’s operations, ensuring outstanding customer experience and meeting sales targets. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, including opening & closing procedures, visual merchandising, and general tidiness. Drive in‑store sales through effective product presentation, customer engagement, and sales coaching. Manage matchday operations, including pop‑up stores across the stadium and alternative venues. Collaborate with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to transition the store for matchdays, adjusting layouts and merchandise for different teams. Stay up to date with retail legislation and implement necessary changes. Deliver an outstanding customer experience in line with the club’s brand values. Champion a supporter‑first mindset during busy periods such as kit launches, holidays, and matchdays. Help drive store performance against KPIs, including sales targets, average transaction value, footfall, and conversion rates. Leadership Motivate and lead the store team, both permanent and casual, to deliver high standards in customer service, operational efficiency, and professionalism. Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to staff, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications Experience in a retail management role, preferably within the sports industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for supporter experience. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience with POS systems, stock management software, and e‑commerce integration. Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, matchdays, and seasonal peaks. Experience in stock control and visual merchandising. Desirable Qualifications Passion for sports and knowledge of Bristol Sport and its clubs is an advantage, but not essential. Hours 37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 days, including evenings and weekends. Salary Up to £26,500 per annum.
