OverviewOccupational Therapist SS Manual Handling in Lowestoft, earning £35 hourly.This is a full-time Occupational Therapist position specialising in Manual Handling in the charming coastal town of Lowestoft. With an immediate start and an ongoing contract, you will work across multiple sites, providing essential services that make a tangible difference in the community. Multiple positions are available, offering flexibility and variety in your daily routine.BenefitsCompetitive pay that recognises your expertise and dedication.Professional growth in a fulfilling role within a supportive environment.Flexible shifts to help balance personal and work life.A vibrant work environment where teamwork and collaboration are valued.Variety and challenge each day to broaden your skills and keep your professional life engaging.ResponsibilitiesProvide safe and timely delivery of front-line occupational therapy services within the directorate.Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to minimise OT waiting lists.Assist external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling tasks.Review care packages to ensure best value and utilisation of available equipment for Adult Social Care.Evaluate double-handed care packages for efficiency and safety.Offer mutual aid to other OT areas as needed.Conduct OT assessments and reviews across the directorate in a safe and timely manner.RequirementsMust be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the occupational therapy field.A car driver is preferable for ease of travel between sites.Living and working in Lowestoft offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and modern conveniences.
