Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with a focus on meat products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all meat products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for meat products.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of meat processing facilities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Ensure all meat products meet microbiological, chemical, and physical safety standards.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  7. Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
  8. Prepare and present quality assurance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field would be beneficial.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the food industry, with a focus on meat products.
  3. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and industry best practices.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Proficiency in quality assurance software and tools.
