Digital Waffle is hiring a Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Birmingham. We’re a specialist agency that recruits across digital, tech, marketing, and creative industries — and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact without the usual corporate nonsense. Role: Recruitment Consultant Location: Birmingham City Centre – Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) What you’ll be doing: Managing the full 360 recruitment process across digital, tech, or creative sectors Building long-term client relationships through proactive business development Writing and optimising job adverts to attract top talent Headhunting and qualifying candidates through multiple sourcing channels Managing interviews, offers, and placements with professionalism and pace Collaborating with a close-knit, supportive team to share leads, insights, and successes What you’ll need: Previous experience in recruitment (any market considered) Confidence in managing both client and candidate relationships Commercial awareness and an eye for opportunity Ambition, energy, and a people-first approach to your work What’s on offer: Competitive salary + 20% commission (no threshold) 8am–4pm working hours for a genuine work-life balance Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the Birmingham office (Tues–Thurs) A warm desk with active clients ready to go Ongoing training, mentorship, and real career progression Regular socials and an open, down-to-earth culture where results matter more than KPIs If you’re a recruiter who’s fed up with red tape and unrealistic targets, and just wants to work with good people doing good work, we’d love to chat. #J-18808-Ljbffr
