We promote a healthy, productive and flexible working environment that respects work‑life balance.ResponsibilitiesManagement of site staff, operatives and sub‑contractorsProvide method statements, hazard risk assessments and Project Management plansUnderstand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgetsPrepare and monitor programmes of workFoster good relations and reputation with clientsManage design co‑ordinationAssess and engage sub‑contractorsManage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contractsSupervise, mentor and assist in the career development of junior staffQualificationsExperience as a Project Manager on main contractor projects, preferably with flood defence/structures and highways/road schemesIndustry qualification (HND, HNC or BEng) or equivalentUp‑to‑date SMSTS qualification and appropriate CSCS cardTeam player with excellent communication, people skills, ability to manage change and delegateBenefitsLife assurance cover (4× annual salary)Company car or car allowanceCompany pension scheme (match up to 8 %)25 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy additional days)The ‘great escape’ – leave 2 hours early every FridayExtensive training programmesCycle‑to‑work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEmployee benefits platformFree on‑site parkingCompany social calendar and regular fun daysBroad range of charity eventsEqual OpportunityWe are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff.
