OverviewJoin the University of Cambridge as a Research Assistant/Associate in High Energy Physics Theory. The role focuses on developing cutting‑edge, high‑precision calculations in the Standard Model for LHC phenomenology and future colliders.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and/or use high‑precision calculations for LHC processes (NLO, NNLO, N3LO).Calculate multiloop/multileg amplitudes and match parton showers with higher‑order calculations.Perform heavy flavour physics calculations.Collaborate with a team, publish results, and contribute to the department’s research agenda.QualificationsPhD in Theoretical Physics (or close to obtaining) with a proven track record in precision calculations for hadron colliders.Experience in NLO, NNLO, or N3LO calculations, multiloop/multileg amplitude calculations, and matching parton showers with higher‐order calculations.Solid computational skills and strong organisational, communication, and team‑working skills.Publications in major journals demonstrating expertise.Application ProcessPlease upload your CV, a list of publications, a covering letter, and a 2‑4 page summary of your research interests and future plans.
