CareerMakers Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our busy client in Skelmersdale, WN8. Key Responsibilities Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone or email. Providing quotations. Entering customer sales orders into Sage, checking stock inventory to give lead times. Answering the telephone. Despatching daily shipments with DPD and foreign shipments with DHL, FEDEX, TNT, UPS – preparing customs documentation and declarations. Tracking deliveries to ensure they are delivered on time. Processing accounts payable: supplier invoices into Sage, matching deliveries or coding invoices, reconciling to supplier statements, handling invoice queries, processing month‑end payment run. General administration duties. Qualifications / Experience Excellent communicator. Proactive and a team player. Understanding of how to use Excel and Word. Excellent organisational skills. Minimum 3 years experience in Sage Line 50 Accounts or a similar accounts package. Knowledge of customs declarations for shipping to Europe, USA and the rest of the world (training will be provided).
