To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team – and right now we are looking to recruit for a Bar Assistant to join the centre. Lilleshall is one of Sport England’s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Lilleshall provides excellent facilities to Britain’s leading sports men and women. We are also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days. About You We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who, like the rest of the team at Lilleshall, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and is willing to go the extra mile for customers. Responsibilities Carrying out cleaning duties to maintain high cleanliness standards Undertaking and recording temperature checks and ensuring excellent food hygiene practices Serving customers promptly and efficiently Following all financial and cash-handling procedures Preparing food and beverages in line with café menus and under the direction of the Café Supervisor Replenishing stock within the café and vending machines as needed Maintaining and promoting brand standards Being flexible to support business needs, including holiday and sickness cover, and working weekends (Desirable but not essential) Previous experience in a bar environment Serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the bar To be considered for this role, you must be 18+ due to the requirement to serve alcohol. You should also have knowledge or experience in a bar, café, retail, or other customer-focused environment.
