Main duties of the job You will be part of the team who are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive electrical maintenance and installation service across the Trust's estates, which will be responsive, efficient, financially effective and to a high standard. You should possess good communication skills both written and verbal. Last year we undertook almost 33,700 planned surgical operations in our 57 operating theatres. We are one of only 7 Trusts nationally with more than 50 operating theatres. Person Specification Qualifications City and Guilds apprenticeship or equivalent course in Mechanical Engineering Previous experience within the Healthcare Industry. Experience Previous installation and maintenance operations on a large, complex and diverse estate. Experience in electrical/mechanical fault finding and repairs. Knowledge of Fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, Swipe Access systems, Emergency Lighting Systems, Backup power supplies, including Generator systems and Uninterruptible Power Supplies. Skills Ability to carry out fault finding and correct faults on complex systems.
