Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Generative AI Innovation Center Apply for the Machine Learning Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Generative AI (GenAI) Innovation Center. Key Job Responsibilities Develop and deploy advanced ML models and pipelines to solve customer problems using generative AI. Collaborate with scientists and colleagues across diverse teams and environments. Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative ML solutions to improve performance, cost, and security. Build high‑quality, highly available, always‑on products. Research new algorithms and optimizations for risk, profitability, and customer experience. Iterate on experimentation and research implementations that deliver best customer experiences. A Day in the Life Design and code ML solutions to drive efficiencies in architecture. Create metrics, implement automation, and resolve root causes of software defects. Build high‑impact ML solutions and deliver to large customer base. Participate in design discussions, code review, and stakeholder communication. Work cross‑functionally to drive business solutions with technical input. Operate in a startup‑like environment focusing on high‑priority objectives. Basic Qualifications Professional software development experience (non‑internship). Programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience with full software development life cycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
