Senior Infrastructure EngineerCentral LondonUp to £80kWell-established, highly profitable construction engineering business is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You'll be joining at a critical time as the organisation expands its technical capability, with ambitious growth plans and multiple acquisitions planned every year for the next 5 years (8 in the past 12 months).Reporting into the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee core infrastructure and networking. You'll work closely with managed service providers to ensure seamless operations and business continuity whilst taking a lead on regular site set-ups.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage office and site networks, aligning with business strategyAct as an escalation point for the Service Desk TeamSet up and configure Local Area Networks (LANs), including hardware deployment and supportCoordinate with third-party MSPs for network and infrastructure managementManage firewall operations and connectivity with ISPsOversee network IP addressing and VPN setupsSupport business continuity through proactive incident managementRapid deployment of site connectivity solutions, including 4G routersMonitor network health and performance, ensuring high availability and resilienceMaintain inventory and configuration records for infrastructure and softwareCollaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on network securitySupport software licensing and upgradesSupport data privacy and security auditsProvide technical support and mentoringMaintain server rooms and ensure operational efficiencyDevelop and implement business processes and documentationRequirements:Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure managementStrong in network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.), ideally candidates must hold a CCNA/CCNP etc.Experience with FortiGate Firewalls and Windows Operating SystemsFamiliarity with WAN, LAN, VPN, and wireless networks4 days per week onsite initially, dropping to 3 days after 3 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
