As a Teaching Assistant at Yiewsley Grange School, you'll work closely with inspiring pupils, all of whom have a diagnosis of autism and may have additional needs. Every child has incredible potential, and you'll play a key role in helping them unlock it through tailored, engaging learning experiences.You'll help prepare learning materials, support classroom activities, and provide hands‑on guidance under the direction of experienced teachers. Beyond the classroom, you'll support pupils' emotional and physical wellbeing, helping them build confidence, independence, and resilience.No two days will be the same – you'll face challenges, celebrate successes, and develop your own skills along the way. Our schools support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. At Yiewsley Grange, we use a wide range of teaching strategies to engage learners with diverse learning difficulties and styles. Pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards the Equals Semi‑Formal Curriculum and equivalent functional skills qualifications.As part of the Hillingdon Grange group of schools, Yiewsley Grange benefits from being one of four sites offering education from early years up to Key Stage 2.
