Home Delivery Van Driver – ASDA, Colchester Location: Turner Rise, Colchester, CO4 5TU. Pay £12.50 per hour. Flexible 8‑hour shifts, all days of the week. No delivery experience required – full training provided. Responsibilities Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others. Secure the load of the trailer so that products are safely secured and minimise chances of damage. Provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery. Carry out multi‑drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner. Report any vehicle defects to the Transport Office as necessary. Demonstrate excellent customer‑facing awareness skills. Be a good timekeeper and work independently without supervision. Maintain an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first‑class customer service. Communicate effectively and exhibit a flexible, can‑do attitude to work. Qualifications Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points). Good customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to work flexibly, including late shifts and weekends. Physically fit – able to lift and carry shopping crates safely. Good time‑keeping and reliability. Comfortable working independently while out on the road. Right to work in the UK. Willingness to support in‑store tasks (e.g., picking/packing) when required.
