The Senior Clinical Research Practitioner post would ideally suitsomeone who has experience of delivering research in a dynamic environmentand/or experience of community based practiceTheseposts will be employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals with the operationalbase being Humber Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for the Humber and NorthYorkshire region.TheARDT Senior CRP will be required to travel throughout the Humber and NorthYorkshire region delivering all aspects of clinical and non-clinicalresearch.Thefollowing areas of expertise are advantageous however not essential,Commercial Research Delivery, Mental Health, Community or District Nursing,Supporting those living with Dementia and PrisonsExpected ShortlistingDate03/02/2026Planned InterviewDate17/02/2026Main duties of the jobTherole will mainly be responsible forManagingmultiple concurrent projects and research sites, requiring flexibility andadjustment according to demand.Managesall aspects of study delivery including; screening, recruitment (includingobtaining informed consent), delivering interventions, follow ups, datamanagement, sample collection and processing as required, across allspecialties and settings.Actin accordance with current legislation, including Good Clinical Practice,research governance legislation, and the Data Protection Act.Contributeto the leadership and management of a dedicated research delivery and supportteam, with adherence to Host policies and procedures. This may include, but not be limited to;venepuncture, blood pressure, urinalysis, weight and height.Appropriately document and reportany serious adverse events and incidents according to regulatoryrequirements.Review research study protocols andscientific literature to identify safety aspects of research administration,and associated workload involved in running a clinical trial.Ensure that relevant approvals arein place prior to commencing a study.Analyse, interpret, compare andpresent a range of complex data (including research outcomes) to patientsupport groups and multidisciplinary team meetings.Using appropriate manual andcomputerised systems, ensure accurate collection and maintenance of allresearch records and results, ensuring that all data can be verified.Provide timely information andreports to reflect recruitment of patients including timely entry to LocalProject Management Systems (LPMS).Work directly with local ITdepartments and/or software providers to address problems which may occure.g. resolving problems with on-line data submission forms.OPERATIONALMANAGEMENTFORRESEARCH DELIVERYManage multiple concurrent projectsand research sites, requiring flexibility and adjustment according to demand.A managed practitioner roleinvolving all aspects of study delivery including; screening. recruitment(including taking informed consent), delivering interventions, follow ups,data management, sample collection and processing as required, across all specialtiesand settings.Contribute to the leadership andmanagement of a dedicated research delivery and support team, with adherenceto Host policies and procedures.
