Job title - Driver Location - Portal Mill, Melksham Job Summary C&E licence Minimum 42-hour week Working any 5 days out of 7 Some nights away required Some weekend work required Variable start/finish times depending upon business requirements Specific Responsibilities To deliver Herman Miller products to end customers as required. Company Requirements Health & Safety: ensure that safe working practices are followed, attend safety briefings as requested, and take responsibility for your own and your co-workers' safety in accordance with The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation 1999. Compliance: ensure compliance with business systems, processes, certification schemes, regulations and legislation relevant to the scope of your role. Support internal quality controls and audits to demonstrate compliance. Job Holder Requirements C+E licence (artic) Digital tachograph card Driver qualification card (CPC) No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences Working knowledge of drivers' hours and the working time directive Drawbar Experience: Preferred but not essential.
