As a Van Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to our valued customers – helping keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. You will be delivering alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 48 hours per week, on a ‘5 on 3 off’ pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 06:00. Extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives accessible to all employees What you will do on a typical day: Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homes and providing a first-class customer service experience Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects What you need to succeed at GXO: This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture Full UK driving licence with category B entitlement No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years Previous experience driving category B vehicles is desirable DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
