Bank Holidays) increasing with service Employee Assistance Programme Free on-site parking Local Government Pension Scheme On-site catering facilities and much more (please see attached Work Perks Guide) Responsibilities Supporting lecturers in various delivery: Fabrication and Welding, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electrical Installation. Preparing materials for practical sessions. Ordering materials and monitoring stock / rotation. Checking deliveries and taking responsibility for storing. Disposal of waste materials into skips and arranging collection. Basic maintenance of machinery (training provided if required). Securing storage containers and other storage areas. Securing loading bay and other related areas. Organising external maintenance companies for regular visits. Some supervision of learners / external visitors on occasion. Candidate Profile Knowledge of relevant codes of practice and awareness of current health and safety regulations and legislation. Experience of maintaining high safety standards. Approachable manner with a ‘Can do’ attitude. Self‑motivated. Team player, able to work alone too. ICT skills (Microsoft office suite). Essential Qualifications Level 2 Maths and English or willingness to work towards within a given timescale. Desirable Qualifications Forklift licence (training can be provided). Use of abrasive wheels (training can be provided).
