About the role As a Network Planning Analyst you will be working as part of a small team, part of the wider Waitrose Merchandising Operations team. The Network Planning Analyst will support the Network Planning Manager to support how key transformation and optimisation projects impact the flow of goods throughout the Waitrose network. You will be responsible for understanding how the efficient stock flow through the Waitrose distribution network relates to these key transformation and optimisation projects. This will include working closely with the Waitrose Planners. You will refine across all the categories replenishment plans, responding to stakeholder and customer information, ensuring the most optimised service. Ensure changes to plans are in line with agreed capacity guardrails and constraints, ensuring the flow of goods through the network balancing the needs of distribution and the branch network. Salary - £44,800 - £67,200 Contract type - This position is a Fixed term/Secondment for 12 months. Working pattern/flexible working The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aim for 2 to 3 days per week in the office to connect. There will also be adhoc supply chain visits required as part of this role. Location Bracknell Head Office Interviews to be held in person at Bracknell Head Office the week of the 2nd February 2026 Key responsibilities Working with Planners to set up the replenishment system to optimise the flow of stock into and through the supply chain network Resolving capacity issues within agreed timelines and guardrails Planning and executing weekly pull forward of demand to maintain a smooth outbound of goods to shops and customers Planning and executing network changes in line with changes to supply chain plans Maintaining planning calendars to optimise the flow of stock through the internal network Essential skills/experience you’ll need Experience in Supply Chain Reporting and data analysis in a complex, Grocery retailer An analytical approach and strong understanding of the logic behind Supply Chain Planning Proven track record of delivery and data-driven decision-making Desirable skills/experience you may have Good understanding of BI and Data Warehouses The partnership We’re the largest employee owned business in the UK and home of our cherished brands, John Lewis and Waitrose.
