Highways Lighting Operative Enerveo is one of the largest contracting businesses in the UK, providing mechanical, electrical, and high‑voltage services across the country. We manage over 1 million street lights and deliver electrical, EV infrastructure installation, testing, and street lighting projects. Job Title: Highways / Streetlighting OperativeBase Location: LeedsSalary: From £24,309 – £27,011 + Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme + overtime availableHours: Full‑time – Monday to Thursday 7:00 am‑3:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am‑2:30 pmContract Type: Permanent Responsibilities Install and maintain street lighting, signposts, and signage. Diagnose faults and repair electrical equipment. Carry out preventative maintenance and safety testing. Operate MEWPs and HIABs safely and professionally. Work to high standards under health and safety regulations. Deliver excellent service to clients and the public. Requirements for Success Comfortable working at heights (MEWPs). Previous experience in civil or street lighting work. Full UK driving licence. Nice to Have HGV Class 2 licence. IPAF or PASMA certification. G39 Electrical Safety Training.
