Do you have experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and confidence providing both learning and personal care support?

The Role – 1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a pupil in the Reception class who has been diagnosed with ASD. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, helping to implement individual learning plans, and providing consistent encouragement throughout the school day.

You will also support the pupil with personal care and sensory needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and fully included in all aspects of school life. The ideal 1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant will be patient, nurturing, and adaptable, with a calm and positive approach to behaviour management.
