You'll support the professional development of childminders and uphold high standards in line with Ofsted and EYFS guidance. This role is central to sustaining inclusive and high-quality early years and childcare provision across the region.What you’ll be doingProvide guidance and challenge to Ofsted registered childminders to raise standards and promote best practice through on site and virtual visits across North and West KentPromote inclusive, high-quality early years provision aligned with local and national statutory frameworksSupport childminders with EYFS compliance and delivery of funded early education entitlementsBuild strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver support for childmindersEnsure early learning experiences meet EYFS principles and narrow gaps for vulnerable childrenDeliver professional dialogue and constructive feedback to drive continuous improvementWhat we’re looking forDegree-level qualification in early years, childcare or educationProven experience in early education or childcare settingsKnowledge of EYFS Framework, Ofsted inspection processes and statutory guidance relating to early education and childcare, including the early years entitlements.Experience supporting professionals to improve practice and outcomesAwareness of current challenges in the childminding sectorStrong communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to influence positivelyConfidence holding professional conversations that encourage reflection and developmentWhat you’ll get in returnSalary of £31,680 per annum (pro rata)25 days annual leave (FTE)Life assurance cover (4x salary)Pension scheme with 8% employer contributionAdditional benefits including Pluxee, cycle to work scheme and retail discountsVolunteer days and access to a comprehensive wellbeing programmeFlexible working arrangementsTailored learning and development support with real opportunities to progressWhy CSG?Commercial Services Group (CSG) is the UK’s largest local authority-owned trading company (LATCO), generating over £800 million in revenue and supporting 16,000 education and public sector customers worldwide.
