You will be reporting to a Higher Executive Officer (HEO), plan and undertake a programme of tasks, working both independently and as part of a team. Duties under HEO direction: Contingency and rapid responses, in the event of findings of non‑established NNS or controlling established NNS in the wider environment. Investigating escapes and deliberate releases of NNS, and assisting with their re‑capture. Assisting with inspections on a range of premises. Educating others on the impact of INNS and the importance of biosecurity, including their legal responsibilities. Collecting high quality data in order to assess the risk posed by different pathways and levels of compliance. Writing reports. Attending events to promote NNSI and our objectives. Liaising with specialists, including diagnostic services and other experts where necessary. Other appropriate tasks as required by management. The role will involve the control of NNS which includes capture and re‑homing or euthanasia, and in some cases the use of firearms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
