Proposals Engineer Location : Colchester Area Salary : £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) Hours : Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4pm Are you an experienced Engineer from the acoustic, manufacturing, fabrication, production or construction sectors? Our client near Colchester is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join their growing team and support the Commercial Manager in preparing bids and tenders for bespoke acoustic and noise control solutions. Duties : Prepare and manage bids, tenders and client quotations Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Conduct site surveys and assist in technical design and estimating Coordinate sales and marketing activities including digital content, tenders, and trade shows Support the delivery team with project handovers and technical documentation Requirements : Background in acoustic engineering, manufacturing, or construction Strong technical and estimating skillsProficient in MS Office; AutoCAD experience preferred Engineering qualification desirable Full UK driving licence and own transport essential Salary and benefits : £38,000 - £45,000 DOE 25 days holiday + bank holidays Early finish Fridays Pension & death-in-service benefits CPD certification support & clear progression prospects Free on-site parking This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering company offering long-term career development and variety in a technical and commercial role.
