About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Pershore. If you are passionate about education, enjoy working with young people, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that students continue to learn and engage with their work during the absence of their regular teachers. You will be responsible for managing the classroom, maintaining discipline, and ensuring a productive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff and ensure students remain on task with set work.

Manage student behaviour and ensure a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Provide support to students where necessary to help them complete their work.

Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.

Carry out administrative tasks associated with cover lessons.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who:

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is confident in managing groups of students.

Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential).

Is proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations.

Holds or is willing to obtain a valid DBS check.
