Based in central Scotland, we serve domestic and global markets, supporting industries such as breweries, power stations, marine, waste oils, and dairy. Our fully equipped workshop offers metal spraying hardfacing, dynamic balancing, turning, milling, TIG, and MIG welding services. Additionally, we supply a comprehensive range of spare parts and provide reconditioned separator and heat exchanger units, complete with delivery and installation options. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships and repeat business with a diverse client base both domestically and internationally. Role Description The Workshop Engineer position is a full-time, on-site role located in Cumbernauld. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial machinery, including separators, decanters, and heat exchangers. Key responsibilities include equipment diagnostics, performing workshop-based repairs, implementing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also support the installation and commissioning of equipment for customers across various industries and collaborate with the team to uphold high-quality service standards. Qualifications Experience in Maintenance & Repair and working with Heavy Equipment is essential. Familiarity with operating in Workshops and utilizing tools for machining, welding, and other repair processes. Strong Communication abilities, including the capacity to provide clear updates and collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Willingness to engage in on-the-job Training and professional development to enhance technical expertise. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols at all times. A background in mechanical engineering or a related field and relevant certifications are advantageous. Flexibility to accommodate project schedules and work within an industrial setting.
