The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for handling various support tickets and resolving complex technical problems, to ensure seamless service delivery for our clients. The position plays a critical part in maintaining and troubleshooting client systems, providing expert support to ensure the efficient operation of their IT services and mentoring and upskilling of junior engineers. Provide services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies delivering excellence in Windows and/or Apple focused technology services. Manage end point software installation and licensing, and end user device setup and transfer. Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk, assisting with mentoring of other engineers and providing hands on support when required. Provide general application support, troubleshooting of network connectivity issues, user account creations and deletions, create file sharing connections. Documenting time and technical information into our ticketing systems and client information tools. What you’ll bring? Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Systems Engineer or similar role - MSP experience is highly desirable. Extensive experience in the infrastructure, networking and remote desktop space (Office 365, Intune, VMware, Cisco, etc). Solid time management skills and able to manage workload in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with a background in documentation and updating time tickets in a timely manner. Certifications in relevant technologies. What else do you need to apply? Travel on-site to our office in Welshpool and to client sites. Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions.
