Join us for a unique experience where we value autonomy, giving our employees responsibility and ownership in their areas of expertise.The OpportunitySenior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects within the rotating machinery and electrical engineering sectors.This is a high-impact role managing projects from £5M to £20M across critical industries such as hydropower, nuclear, and large-scale power generation. If you're technically astute, thrive in fast-paced environments, and have a track record of end-to-end project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities Leading the full project lifecycle from initial client engagement through to successful delivery and close-out Preparing accurate project estimates, quotations, and managing cost forecasts Defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans Coordinating multi-disciplinary internal teams and liaising with key external stakeholders Managing project risks, quality assurance processes, and formal reporting Ensuring timely delivery of technically complex engineering projects in the £5M–£20M rangeYour skills and experiences Proven track record managing complex engineering projects Financial acumen and strong planning skills Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and MS Project Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills Experience in hydropower, large power plants, or nuclear projects Project Management certification (PMI, APM, PMQ, or PPQ) is advantageousBenefitsSalary up to £70,000.00 per annum dependant upon experience + Company Car / Cash Allowance Contributory salary sacrifice pension scheme Life insurance (4x your salary) Enhanced annual leave entitlement, in addition to bank holidays Company-funded gym subsidy payments Annual vision allowance Free 24/7 remote GP service Employee referral programme Long service recognition awards Paid maternity and paternity leave Access to Electric/ Hybrid vehicle charging pointsAdditional benefits Employee Assistance Programme Extensive professional development through our in-house training academy Career-enhancing training events Exclusive employee discounts and various concessions via our corporate perks platformAbout QuartzelecAt Quartzelec, we take great pride in our commitment to developing the next generation of talent, as demonstrated by our active engagement with over 100 apprentices.
