About the Role We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide targeted support for pupils across the school. You will play a key role in helping children access the curriculum, develop essential skills, and achieve learning outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils’ academic progress and personal development. Responsibilities Provide 1 or small group support for pupils with additional learning needs. Assist in delivering classroom activities and lessons, adapting resources to meet individual requirements. Support behaviour management strategies and help maintain a positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to monitor progress and implement interventions. Assist with personal care and well-being tasks when required. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, interventions, and achievements. Qualifications Previous experience in a Learning Support or SEN Assistant role within a school. Knowledge of differentiation, SEN strategies, and inclusion practices. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual learning needs. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection within an educational setting.
