Are you a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a full‑time skilled and dedicated teacher to join a specialist school in Stockton on Tees, starting immediately. The school has young children aged 4‑11, with a diagnosis of autism and who may also have a range of complex learning needs, communication and sensory difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Work closely with support staff and multi‑agency teams Use trauma‑informed and behaviour management strategies effectively Monitor and track student progress, adjusting plans as necessary The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) Experience teaching pupils with ASD, SEMH and additional needs Strong behaviour management skills A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach A genuine desire to support vulnerable learners Why work with Tradewind?
