You will manage EL/PL injury, disease, and/or Third-Party Property Damage claims with flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.This technical role involves investigating policy and legal liability, settling claims for our Insurer and Corporate clients, and handling third party injury, occupational disease and/or public liability property damage claims independently and under referral.You will investigate allegations against policyholders, provide detailed advice on liability, collate relevant information, identify fraud risks, maintain proactive contact with all parties, manage litigation where appropriate, and ensure accurate maintenance of databases and correspondence.With one of the largest teams of liability experts in the world, Sedgwick supports and resolves property, general, auto, product and professional liability claims, and helps our clients maintain brand protection in times of crisis.# **The skills you will have when you apply:*** Thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations.* Insurance qualifications are desirable, but relevant experience is equally valued.* Strong team working and collaboration skills.* Good understanding of insurance law and policy wording interpretation.* Knowledge of contract, statute, and civil liability.* Strong investigation skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work with corporate clients, small businesses, insurers, and brokers.* Influencing skills to gain agreement on proposals and ideas.* Effective listening and empathetic response skills.* Clear and concise communication skills.* Motivation to provide prompt, efficient, and personalized service to both external and internal customers.# **What we’ll give you for this role:****Remuneration & more*** Competitive salary taking into account skills, experience and qualifications* A Self Invested Personal Pension Scheme (SIPP)* Holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays* Flexible working from our office or your home**Health & support*** Private healthcare plan (including pre-existing conditions)* Life assurance* Employee assistance programme for employee wellbeing* Group Income Protection**Other benefits*** Voluntary benefits – dental cover, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan, welling and digital GP applications* Discounts on various products and services# **This isn't just a position, it's a pivotal role in shaping our industry**At Sedgwick, you won't just build your career; you'll cultivate a team of experts.
